Ngabu 34, pushed the pace from the start of fight with his aggressive inside attack. This game plan force the southpaw Masson 31, to sit in the pocket and trade with the stronger Ngabu. Masson suffered a bad cut over his right eye caused by a punch in the fourth round.
Ngabu broke through in the six when he landed a big counter left hook that dropped his opponent. Masson beat the count, however referee Will Soulos stopped to contest at 2:32 of the round.
