WBC #1 Contender Rocky Hernandez Signs With Matchroom

Eduardo 'Rocky' Hernandez (33-1 30KOs) has signed with Matchroom Boxing. Hernandez is the WBC #1 Contender and mandatory at Super Featherweight. O'Shaquie Foster is the WBC Featherweight Champion and will eventually have to make a mandatory defense vs Hernandez.

Up next, Hernandez is due to return on July 7th in Mexico vs Undefeated Venezuelan fighter Joniker Tovar (21-0-1 16KOs) on DAZN.

Hernandez 25, recently became a free agent after the disbanding of his previous promotion company Probellum. Now Hernandez is in position to have some big fights with Matchroom. Joe Cordina the IBF Super Featherweight Champion is also a possibility down the line.
