WBC Featherweight Champion Stephen Fulton failed to make weight at the official weigh-in for the WBC super featherweight title fight against Champion O'Shaquie Foster. First Reported by Carlos Linares.

Fulton's attempt to become a three division champion was derailed when he weigh in at 132 on both official tries. WBC may strip Fulton of his featherweight title. At this moment, WBC has yet to rule on Fulton's championship status. If Fulton is stripped, the ordered fight between WBC Interim Champion Bruce Carrington vs Carlos Castro could be for the vacant WBC featherweight title in late January 2026. Another possibility is Rey Vargas redeeming the full WBC status after being named 'Champion in Recess' due to injury.

The ill-fated Fulton-Foster fight has took a lot hits to get to this point. The bout was postponed on three separate occasions. Twice on the undercard for the proposed rematch between Gervonta Davis and Lamont Roach Jr. Another time on the canceled Sebastian Fundora vs Keith card on October 25th.

Fulton-Foster will go on as planned as the co-main event for Isaac Cruz vs Lamont Roach Jr on December 6th in San Antonio, PBC PPV on Prime Video. Fulton has to pay fine to the Texas Commission and to Team Foster for the fight to move forward.
