Robiesy Ramirez Will Defend His WBO Title Against Undefeated Mexican Rafael Espinoza

WBO Featherweight Cuban Champion Robiesy Ramirez (13-1 8KOs) will make second title defense against the undefeated Mexican contender Rafael Espinoza (21-0 18KOs) on November 4th in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Top Rank will present this event live on ESPN/ESPN+.


Ramirez 29, won the vacant WBO Featherweight title on April 1st defeating from world champion Isaac Dogboe by unanimous decision. Ramirez first title defense was on July 25 in Japan when he stopped the Japanese contender Satoshi Shimizu in five one sided rounds.


Espinoza 29, will be the tallest opponent Ramirez has faced as a pro standing at 6'1. Espinoza wirey frame helped him score 18 of his 21 wins by knockout.
