Reymart Gaballo Scores 22 Second Knockout Against Phai Pharob; Seeks World Title Shot Next

Reymart Gaballo (27-1 22 KOs) made quick work of Thai boxer Phai Pharob (35-4 27) KOs) when he landed a crippling left hook to the body. The fight was halted at the 2:38 mark of the opening round.

Gaballo 27, is number one in the WBO Rankings at Bantamweight and will purse a fight with WBO champion Jason Moloney (27-2 19 KOs) next. Gaballo is trained by Nonito Donaire Sr. Father of the future Hall of Famer Nonito Donaire Jr. Ironically, Donaire Jr. is the only boxer to defeat Gaballo stopping him in the fourth round in December 2021.

Moloney 33, defended his WBO title in January 2024 against Saul Sanchez in a tough and entertaining fight. Moloney is due back in the ring on May 11th on the undercard of Lomachenko-Kamboses in Australia. Moloney-Gaballo will be a great addition to the card. Now, both team will wait for the WBO to officially order the fight.
