Regis Prograis Will Defend his WBC Super Lightweight title vs Liam Paro on June 17th

Regis Prograis (28-1 24KO's) announced his Co-Promotional Partner with Matchroom during the Canelo-Ryder DAZN PPV broadcast. Undefeated Australian Liam Paro (23-0 14KOs) will get the assignment to challenge Prograis in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana on Juneteenth weekend.

Paro 27, was in negotiations with Jose Ramirez to fight in a WBO eliminator. This fight was never close. With Prograis joining the Matchroom stable along with Paro, made this fight easy to make.

Prograis 34, will be facing his 4 southpaw in row on June 17 and 7 out of 10. He stopped Jose Zepeda in the 11th round of their vacant WBC Super Lightweight title fight in November 2022. Paro is coming off a 1st round destructive knockout victory over countrymen Brock Jarvis in October 2022.
