Press Release:
No Limit Boxing CEO George Rose announced that Tszyu has been mandated by the IBF to face American super welterweight Erickson Lubin. The deal aims to be finalised by July 30, or it will proceed to purse bids.
Tim Tszyu has been given the green light by medical professionals to resume full training after postponing his previously scheduled bout against Vergil Ortiz in August. This match marks his first fight since his split-decision loss to Sebastian Fundora in Las Vegas in March and his first on home soil since defending his WBO world title against Brian Mendoza on the Gold Coast in October 2023.
In addition to Tim's return, No Limit Boxing confirmed the return of his younger brother, Nikita Tszyu, the current Australian champion. Nikita will defend his national title against former amateur rival Koen Mazoudier (12-3-1) on August 22.
The Tszyu brothers will fly to Las Vegas on Friday to commence their training camps, returning just in time for their respective fight weeks.
