Femke Hermans (16-4 7KO) will return to the lion's den on October 11th to rematch Mary Spencer (7-1 5KOs). This time, the vacant IBF Super Welterweight title will be on the line. Natasha Jonas vacated her three Super Welterweight titles to campaign at Welterweight. Jonas won the IBF Welterweight Title in July.
Hermans 33, defeated Spencer 38, by unanimous decision on December 16, 2022 to win the vacant IBO title. Official scores were 96-94, 97-93 and 99-91. Hermans tricky style had the big puncher Spencer confused all fight.
Since the first fight with Spencer, Hermans has been active picking up two victories in 2023. Spencer has switched trainers and will make here 2023 debut on October 11th.
