Dina Thorslund (20-0 8KOs) defeated Yuliahn Luna (25-4-1 4KOs) by a wide unanimous decision to become the unified WBO,WBC and Ring Magazine bantamweight champion. The event to place in Thorslund's home country Denmark and was stream live on FITE TV in the US.
Thorslund was the aggressor from start while working her way inside against the taller Luna. Luna used a lot of movement while counterpunching occasionally. Thorslund outworked Luna down the stretch of the fight to secure the victory. Official scores were 97-93, 98-92 and 99-91.
Thorslund now awaits a three belt unification the IBF champion Ebanie Bridges or WBA champion Nina Hughes. Ideally, Bridges and Hughes would unify against each other first and the fight Thorslund for undisputed sometime in 2024.
