World Ranked Heavyweight Contender Arslenbek Makhmudov (16-0 15KO's) will make his US debut on the undercard of fellow Heavyweight Contenders Jared Anderson vs Zhan Kossobutskiy. This card will take place on July 1st from Anderson's hometown Toledo, Ohio live on the ESPN family networks.
Makhmudov will face undefeated 6'9 Heavyweight Contender Raphael Akpejiori (15-0 14KO's). This fight was discussed for late 2022 but Akpejiori decided to go a different route. Akpejiori boast a highly capable team with lead trainer Former Light Heavyweight Champion Glen Johnson and Strength & Conditioning Coach Joey Scott. Scott is the S/C Coach for Former Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder.
Makhmudov 6'5 is led by the outstanding trainer Marc Ramsey. Expect fireworks!
